• Be 24-60 years old with at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Singaporean: Hirer and any additional driver have to produce original Singapore NRIC, original Singapore driving license and employment details upon collection of vehicle.
• Foreigner: Hirer and any additional driver have to produce original passport or other permit, original valid country driving license in English version or international driving permit and employment details (if any).
  A foreigner may drive in Singapore with a valid foreign licence, for a period of not more than 12 months. A Singapore driving licence is required after 12 months.
• Only authorised drivers are insured to drive our rental vehicle.

• All prices quoted are in Singapore dollars and are subject to 7% GST (Goods and Services Tax).
• Rental is calculated based on 24 hours basis. Minimum rental duration for weekday is 1 day and weekend is 2 days.

• All our vehicles can be driven to Malaysia up to Kuala Lumpur only with additional surcharge of $50 per calendar day with a $500 refundable deposit.
• Towing service will be provided in the event of a breakdown / accident in Malaysia. No replacement car will be given in Malaysia.

• Upon returning of the vehicle, Hirer should refill the fuel back to the same level as per given. Any petrol shortage will be charged at $20 – $30 per 1/8 tank.
• Refuel vehicle with minimum 95 Octane petrol / 98 Octane petrol (For Premium Continental) Diesel Euro 5.

• Mileage is limited to 200km per day or 1200km per week for Singapore drive. Excess mileage would be charged at $0.40 per km.
• No mileage cap for Malaysia drive.

• All our vehicles are covered under insurance subject to damage excess liability, the damage excess liability may be reduced by purchasing optional CDW insurance.
• The excess for Malaysia use vehicle is double of the applicable excess.

• We accept major Credit Cards (Mastercard and Visa), PayNow or Nets payment only.
• Cash payment is not accepted.

• Credit Card details required .
• $500 Refundable deposit for monthly rental.
• $1,000 Refundable deposit for Continental car monthly rental.

• Hirer may collect/return the vehicle from/to our office during our office operating hours:
  • Weekdays (Mon to Fri) – From 8:00am to 5:00pm
  • Saturdays – From 8:00am to 4:00pm (HQ office)
  • Sunday / Public Holidays – Closed

Hirer / Driver is to be reminded to purchase / insert Cashcard into the In-vehicle unit (IU) for ERP gantry / carpark entry.

Hirer / Driver is responsible for all fines, penalties and summons incurred during the period of hire in Singapore and Malaysia.

Hirer may collect/return the vehicle from/to our office during our office operating hours:

• Able to book up to 90 days in advance.
• Motorway Car Rentals reserves the right to assign any vehicle of similar or higher capacity in accordance to our stock availability should the booked vehicle becomes unavailable.

• 50% of the total paid hire charge / A one day paid hire charge will be forfeited if cancellation notice is less than 48 hours (2 working days) before the specified pick-up date and time.
• Deposit will be forfeited during festive / rental peak period.
• Motorway Car Rentals reserve the rights to cancel the reservation or do not execute the Rental Agreement due to its own cause. The Company shall return the reservation deposit received.
• In the event that Motorway Car Rentals is unable to rent the selected vehicle booked, we may offer to rent a vehicle of a different class (hereinafter referred to as “Substitute Vehicle”). Customers can modify the rental offer.

In the event that the booked vehicle is not collected or not collected at the agreed time, hire charges paid will be forfeited.
